How tuition works
What sets tuition, what the extras are for, and where to find the figures.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on the group a student is in and how many classes a week they take. Musical theatre runs ninety minutes, voice and acting an hour, and jazz and dance an hour or ninety minutes by level. Cast members also rehearse on Saturday afternoons from February. Our figures are on the enrollment page, and we are glad to go through them on the phone.

Registration
A yearly registration covers the studio's file for your student and the studio's insurance, and opens your account on our enrollment page. It is due when you register for your first session.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly with autopay, or by the session if you would rather pay once. Adult classes can be paid by the session.
Siblings
A second student in the family is handled differently from the first. Ask us when you register and we will tell you how.
Missed classes and make-ups
A missed class can be made up in another class of the same group, or the group just below, within the same session. Book it by message or at the front desk.
Uniforms, costumes and other costs
Students in the production have a costume, ordered in the winter and billed before the show, and a production charge for the weekend. Guests need tickets. Jazz shoes and character shoes are bought by the family, and scripts and sheet music are lent in class. We do not enter competitions, so there are no entries or travel.

Withdrawing
We ask for a month's notice before a student leaves, so we can offer the place to someone on the waitlist. A costume that has already been ordered for the production is still billed.
