Auditions and the show
One production a year. Auditions are in January, rehearsals run on Saturdays from February, and the show is one weekend in May.
Classes need no audition. The audition is for a part in the production, and it is built to feel like a class: a warm-up with the group, a short song, a page of script and a combination.

What an audition is like
- 01
Step 1: Sign in
A teacher greets each student and puts them in a group with others of their age.
- 02
Step 2: Warm up together
The group warms up with the director, then learns a few lines of a song.
- 03
Step 3: Sing and read
Each student sings a short song, alone or in a pair, and reads a page of script.
- 04
Step 4: Dance a combination
The group learns a combination and dances it in groups of four.
- 05
Step 5: Hear from us
Families hear from us by message the same month, with a part and a rehearsal plan.

Saturday afternoons
Cast members rehearse on Saturdays from February, on top of their weekly classes.
Costumes and tickets
Costumes are ordered in the winter and billed before the show. Guests need tickets.
How tuition worksProduction weekend
Three performances over a Friday evening and a Saturday, in a rented hall nearby. We do not compete, so there is no travel.
Ready to try a class?
Classes are open to everyone in the age group. Auditions are only for the production.
